Dr Khor graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur in 2002. He underwent his housemanship training in Seberang Jaya Hospital and then served the Internal Medicine Department of Hospital Seberang Jaya from 2004 till 2007 as Medical Officer. He obtained his membership from the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2007 and was later appointed as Physician at Hospital Seberang Jaya from 2007 till 2010. He obtained his Advanced Master in Dermatology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2013 after completed his Dermatology training in Seremban Hospital and Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. Dr Khor is currently the Head of Department of Dermatology Department in Hospital Tuanku Fauziah Kangar and leads the dermatology services in Perlis. He also serves as visiting Dermatologist for Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah Kuala Terengganu. He is active in academic activities, performing as honorary lecturer for Penang Medical College previously and Allianze University College of Medical Sciences currently. Besides that, he is also actively involves in professional societies and patient support group in Malaysia such as Persatuan Dermatologi Malaysia and “Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association [DebRA] Malaysia” (council member). He regularly participates in medical Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programs and is an invited speaker in various seminars. He believes that patients’ education is the corner-stone to successful management of patients with skin disorders. His dedication to the profession earned him Excellent Service Award from the Ministry of Health in 2009.
