Graduated from University of Malaya in 1991. Worked in Institut Jantung Negara from 1998 to 2000 and established Cardiothoracic Surgery Services in Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Further worked at KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital and KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital. Currently is resident consultant in KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital as of 2016.
