Dr Peter Selestine obtained his MBBS degree from the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research in Pondicherry South India.He worked as a Medical Officer and underwent training in Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kota Kinabalu.He subsequently ventured into general practice.He obtained the MRCP degree from The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2007 and worked as physician in Queen Elizabeth Hospital till 2011.He pursued training in geraitric medicine at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and then at Tan Tock Seng Hospital Singapore where he worked as a registrar in the Department of Geriatric Medicine for a period of 20 months.He was posted back to Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a Consultant Geriatrician in June 2014 and he headed the geriatrics unit till early 2016.He subsequently left government service and joined KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital as a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician in May 2016.
