Dr. Chakr Sri Na Nagara commenced his practice in KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital in July 1981 as a Resident Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. He was attached to Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh as Medical Officer in 1965 and later moved to West Middlesex Hospital, Isleworth, England as Senior House Officer from 1966 to 1968. He was also a Senior House Officer at St. Luke’s Hospital, Guildford, Surrey, England and Registrar O&G at Isle of Thanet Hospital, Margate, Kent, England. Besides that, he was a Lecturer O & G at University of Malaya. Dr. Nagara has served on the board of KPJ Healthcare Berhad as Director from 1994 to 2005. He was also the Director of Medical Associates Sdn. Bhd. and the founder of Ipoh Specialist Hospital in 1978. He involved in numbers of associations; MMA Editorial Board, Association of Private of Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM), to name a few.
