Dr Ruhaila Abdul Rahim received her undergraduate training at University Otago, New Zealand in December 2001. She completed her Diploma in Internal Medicine and become the member of Royal Collegue of Physician MRCP (UK) in 2008. She was a general internal medicine specialist in Government General Hospital for 4 years. She was actively involved in public education and health professional trainings on Diabetes, Hypertension, and Ischemic heart disease. Her passion in lupus disease encouraged her to complete her Fellowship in Rheumatology with Malaysia Ministry of Health in 2015. As an active Malaysian Society of Rheumatology member and a southern commitee representative and a member of Lupus Malaysia Organisation, she was actively involved in organising workshop and training on Rheumatology diseases to other health professionals and give public health education to increase public awareness on general heatlh and rheumatisim. She was also actively involved in researches on lupus disease, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Rheumatoid
