Dr. Lim Eu Jin obtained his bachelor and medical degrees from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2002. Being originally from Ipoh, he returned home and completed his Housemanship in Hospital Ipoh. He subsequently worked as a Medical Officer in Hospital Ipoh and Taiping. He obtained his post-graduate specialist MRCP qualification in 2006 and was then promoted to Medical Specialist in 2006, serving patients in primarily Hospital Ipoh and Taiping.
He subsequently underwent further sub-specialist training at the premier Institut Jantung Negara (National Heart Centre) in 2008. With the high-volume and varied case workload in IJN, he was fortunate to have received extensive exposure and experience in managing a wide-spectrum of patients with cardiac diseases. That being said, his main interest lay in Interventional Cardiology for which he had the opportunity to have performed complex procedures especially in coronary angiography/percutaneous coronary intervention. He also had a keen interest in cardiac imaging, in particular echocardiography and CT angiography for which he had obtained Level II certification in cardiac CT. During his tenure in IJN, he had also actively participated in cardiac research, paper presentation and was also involved in organising and speaking at both national and regional cardiac conferences.
He is currently registered with the National Specialist Registry for both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. His other professional associations include being a fellow of the Edinburgh Royal College of Physicians and the National Heart Association of Malaysia.
He has joined KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital since July 2012 and his services include coronary angiography/percutaneous coronary interventions and related procedures, cardiac CT angiography, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, treadmill stress testing, dobutamine stress echocardiography and Holter monitoring among others. He is multilingual and converses fluently in English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese.
